NewsBridge Africa was established in 2014 to promote ethical, responsible, balanced and meaningful journalism that serves the greater public interest through internships, mentoring and continuous training of journalists through workshops and publications.

The organization seeks to build the capacity of early to mid career journalists to do investigative, economic, business, and political reporting in a manner that meets the requirements of professional journalism.

It aims among others to promote high standards in investigations and reporting, in-depth writing, ethical and change-making journalism to influence public opinion.

ADVOCACY

We advocate for the freedom of expression, the journalist’s right to information and right to hold the government and governed to account.

MENTORING

We mentor early to mid-career journalists, providing guidance and where necessary direction in career paths.

INTERNSHIP

We offer internships leading to journalism skills and personal development. Our internship programme at Ghana Business News, offers opportunities for interns to hone their writing, storytelling and investigative skills. The programme also offers a platform for networking and professionalism.
